Coffee starter kit IQOS in Luanda: the review shortlist
Coffee in Luanda: 20 units tested over 8 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
Coil life, liquid cost and the coffee habit
We run coffee the same way in Luanda: same starter kit, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Angola. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The short version: coffee in Luanda works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a coffee starter kit really costs in Luanda
Coffee sounds like one product. It is not: a starter kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested coffee in a starter kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 8–15 business days.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Angola, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a coffee bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where coffee goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why coffee tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing coffee with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Angola?
Yes, tracked to 8–15 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does coffee taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the coffee blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On coffee the budget price and the premium price can sit within Kz2.22 per 10 ml once 8–15 business days is counted.
