Vanilla starter kit IQOS in Luanda: the order shortlist
Vanilla in Luanda: 9 units tested over 4 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
What vanilla costs in Luanda
Vanilla prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Luanda that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Kz2.43 per 10 ml.
Vanilla starter kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 9 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long vanilla tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a vanilla starter kit really costs in Luanda
We run vanilla the same way in Luanda: same starter kit, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested vanilla in a starter kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a vanilla bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Angola, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 8–15 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every vanilla bottle shipped into Angola.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Angola accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why vanilla tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Angola applies customs scrutiny on vaping imports; budget for delays.
Packaging for vanilla in Angola must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Why does vanilla taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the vanilla blend itself harsh.
How much does a starter kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Luanda: about Kz2.43 per 10 ml liquid plus Kz66 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On vanilla the budget price and the premium price can sit within Kz2.43 per 10 ml once 8–15 business days is counted.
