Tropical starter kit IQOS in Luanda: the online shortlist
Tropical in Luanda: 7 units tested over 4 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
Coil life, liquid cost and the tropical habit
Tropical starter kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 7 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Most people searching IQOS in Angola are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long tropical tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a tropical starter kit really costs in Luanda
Tropical in a starter kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Luanda the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested tropical in a starter kit
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a tropical bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in Angola, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Angola stocks.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing tropical with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Angola need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Angola applies customs scrutiny on vaping imports; budget for delays.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a starter kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Luanda: about Kz3.57 per 10 ml liquid plus Kz39 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does tropical in a starter kit last?
In Luanda we measured 4 to 7 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should tropical start at?
Start at whatever Angola allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a starter kit.
