Tropical refill pack IQOS in Luanda: the guide shortlist
Tropical in Luanda: 11 units tested over 3 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
What the label on Tropical is allowed to say
Most people searching IQOS in Angola are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Tropical prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Luanda that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Kz2.15 per 10 ml.
The short version: tropical in Luanda works if the refill pack, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a tropical refill pack really costs in Luanda
Tropical in a refill pack is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Luanda the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested tropical in a refill pack
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a tropical bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Angola, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 11 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a refill pack and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a refill pack that then needs an adapter nobody in Angola stocks.
- Mixing tropical with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Angola need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Angola applies customs scrutiny on vaping imports; budget for delays. Shipping of nicotine to Angola runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
| What it is | This page | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Flavour | Tropical | Decides coil choice more than strength does |

| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Angola |
| Coil life | ~4 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Angola | 8–15 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | Kz44 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | Kz2.15 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
Why does tropical taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the refill pack units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the tropical blend itself harsh.
How much does a refill pack cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Luanda: about Kz2.15 per 10 ml liquid plus Kz44 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does tropical in a refill pack last?
In Luanda we measured 3 to 11 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
