Tobacco squonk mod IQOS in Luanda: the deals shortlist
Tobacco in Luanda: 17 units tested over 4 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
Choosing a squonk mod for tobacco
If you are looking at tobacco in Angola, the first question is not strength. It is whether the squonk mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Tobacco prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Luanda that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Kz1.7 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long tobacco tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a tobacco squonk mod really costs in Luanda
A tobacco squonk mod from the discounted options in Angola costs about Kz1.7 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested tobacco in a squonk mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 8–15 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every tobacco bottle shipped into Angola.
Where tobacco goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tobacco tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
