Tobacco pen device IQOS in Luanda: the budget shortlist
Tobacco in Luanda: 22 units tested over 4 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
Where buyers go wrong with tobacco in Angola
A tobacco pen device from the budget options in Angola costs about Kz2.66 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Tobacco in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Luanda the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Below is the run we did for this search: 22 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a tobacco pen device really costs in Luanda
We run tobacco the same way in Luanda: same pen device, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested tobacco in a pen device
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 8–15 business days.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 8–15 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a tobacco bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every tobacco bottle shipped into Angola.
Where tobacco goes wrong
- Mixing tobacco with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised Kz53 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Kz2.66 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
How long does tobacco in a pen device last?
In Luanda we measured 4 to 22 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should tobacco start at?
Start at whatever Angola allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On tobacco the budget price and the premium price can sit within Kz2.66 per 10 ml once 8–15 business days is counted.
