Sweet cartomizer IQOS in Luanda: the review shortlist
Sweet in Luanda: 15 units tested over 5 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
How to tell a good cartomizer from a repack
Most people searching IQOS in Angola are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
We run sweet the same way in Luanda: same cartomizer, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the cartomizer you buy decides how long sweet tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sweet cartomizer really costs in Luanda
A sweet cartomizer from the reviewed options in Angola costs about Kz3.41 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested sweet in a cartomizer
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sweet bottle shipped into Angola.
Where sweet goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest cartomizer available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised Kz46 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Kz3.41 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here

Packaging for sweet in Angola must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should sweet start at?
Start at whatever Angola allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a cartomizer.
How long does sweet in a cartomizer last?
In Luanda we measured 5 to 15 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does sweet taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the sweet blend itself harsh.
