Sourcherry box mod IQOS in Luanda: the review shortlist
Sourcherry in Luanda: 15 units tested over 2 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
How we tested Sourcherry box mod here
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Angola. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Sourcherry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Luanda that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Kz2.89 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long sourcherry tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sourcherry box mod really costs in Luanda
Most people searching IQOS in Angola are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested sourcherry in a box mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 8–15 business days.
- Stock depth: 15 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 8–15 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sourcherry bottle shipped into Angola.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where sourcherry goes wrong
- Mixing sourcherry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Angola accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sourcherry tastes flat after two days.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a box mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Luanda: about Kz2.89 per 10 ml liquid plus Kz38 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does sourcherry in a box mod last?
In Luanda we measured 2 to 15 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does sourcherry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the sourcherry blend itself harsh.
