Sour starter kit IQOS in Luanda: the deals shortlist
Sour in Luanda: 18 units tested over 8 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
How to tell a good starter kit from a repack
Most people searching IQOS in Angola are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
We run sour the same way in Luanda: same starter kit, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: sour in Luanda works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sour starter kit really costs in Luanda
Sour starter kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 18 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested sour in a starter kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in Angola, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 8–15 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Angola, not a suggestion.
Where sour goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised Kz48 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Kz2.68 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.

Frequently asked questions
How long does sour in a starter kit last?
In Luanda we measured 8 to 18 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
How much does a starter kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Luanda: about Kz2.68 per 10 ml liquid plus Kz48 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does sour taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the sour blend itself harsh.
