Sour squonk mod IQOS in Luanda: the deals shortlist
Sour in Luanda: 6 units tested over 2 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
Choosing a squonk mod for sour
If you are looking at sour in Angola, the first question is not strength. It is whether the squonk mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
We run sour the same way in Luanda: same squonk mod, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: sour in Luanda works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sour squonk mod really costs in Luanda
Ordering into Luanda usually means waiting 8–15 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested sour in a squonk mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 8–15 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Angola, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in Angola, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 8–15 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where sour goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long sour in Luanda survives.
- Treating the advertised Kz51 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Kz2.38 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Angola stocks.
The rules that apply here
Angola applies customs scrutiny on vaping imports; budget for delays.
Retail sales in Angola sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Why does sour taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the sour blend itself harsh.
How much does a squonk mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Luanda: about Kz2.38 per 10 ml liquid plus Kz51 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
