Sour RDA IQOS in Luanda: the deals shortlist
Sour in Luanda: 11 units tested over 8 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
Ordering IQOS to Luanda: the practical version
We run sour the same way in Luanda: same RDA, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Sour prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Luanda that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Kz3.22 per 10 ml.
The short version: sour in Luanda works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sour RDA really costs in Luanda
Sour in Luanda reaches the shelf in RDA formats, and the discounted ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested sour in a RDA
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 8–15 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in Angola, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Angola, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
Where sour goes wrong
- Mixing sour with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised Kz36 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Kz3.22 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a RDA cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Luanda: about Kz3.22 per 10 ml liquid plus Kz36 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does sour taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the sour blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should sour start at?
Start at whatever Angola allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a RDA.
