Sour mesh tank IQOS in Luanda: the wholesale shortlist
Sour in Luanda: 11 units tested over 3 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
How to tell a good mesh tank from a repack
Sour in a mesh tank is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Luanda the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
We run sour the same way in Luanda: same mesh tank, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: sour in Luanda works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sour mesh tank really costs in Luanda
Sour prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Luanda that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Kz3.22 per 10 ml.
How we tested sour in a mesh tank
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 8–15 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 11 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where sour goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest mesh tank available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sour tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long sour in Luanda survives.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for sour in Angola must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Wholesale lines to Angola need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
