Sour 30 ml shortfill IQOS in Luanda: the order shortlist
Sour in Luanda: 19 units tested over 2 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
Choosing a 30 ml shortfill for sour
Sour prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Luanda that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Kz2.16 per 10 ml.
We run sour the same way in Luanda: same 30 ml shortfill, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 19 units, 30 ml shortfill, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sour 30 ml shortfill really costs in Luanda
Most people searching IQOS in Angola are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested sour in a 30 ml shortfill
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Angola, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a sour bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sour bottle shipped into Angola.
Where sour goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a 30 ml shortfill that then needs an adapter nobody in Angola stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sour tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised Kz58 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Kz2.16 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
Why does sour taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 30 ml shortfill units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the sour blend itself harsh.
How much does a 30 ml shortfill cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Luanda: about Kz2.16 per 10 ml liquid plus Kz58 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does sour in a 30 ml shortfill last?
In Luanda we measured 2 to 19 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
