Salted zero-nicotine bottle IQOS in Luanda: the budget shortlist
Salted in Luanda: 18 units tested over 5 weeks, zero-nicotine bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
How we tested Salted zero-nicotine bottle here
A salted zero-nicotine bottle from the budget options in Angola costs about Kz3.21 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
We run salted the same way in Luanda: same zero-nicotine bottle, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the zero-nicotine bottle you buy decides how long salted tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a salted zero-nicotine bottle really costs in Luanda
Salted sounds like one product. It is not: a zero-nicotine bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested salted in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the zero-nicotine bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 8–15 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 8–15 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Angola, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a salted bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every salted bottle shipped into Angola.
Where salted goes wrong
- Mixing salted with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ignoring the batch date on a zero-nicotine bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest zero-nicotine bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should salted start at?
Start at whatever Angola allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a zero-nicotine bottle.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On salted the budget price and the premium price can sit within Kz3.21 per 10 ml once 8–15 business days is counted.
How long does salted in a zero-nicotine bottle last?
In Luanda we measured 5 to 18 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
