Salted pod kit IQOS in Luanda: the budget shortlist
Salted in Luanda: 13 units tested over 5 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
Coil life, liquid cost and the salted habit
Salted in a pod kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Luanda the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Salted sounds like one product. It is not: a pod kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long salted tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a salted pod kit really costs in Luanda
Salted sounds like one product. It is not: a pod kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested salted in a pod kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 8–15 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a salted bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in Angola, since tanks and pods go first.
Where salted goes wrong
- Mixing salted with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long salted in Luanda survives.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for salted in Angola must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in Angola sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Angola?
Yes, tracked to 8–15 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On salted the budget price and the premium price can sit within Kz2.72 per 10 ml once 8–15 business days is counted.
Why does salted taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the salted blend itself harsh.
