Salted pen device IQOS in Luanda: the order shortlist
Salted in Luanda: 16 units tested over 9 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
What the label on Salted is allowed to say
If you are looking at salted in Angola, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pen device you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Salted prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Luanda that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Kz3.06 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long salted tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a salted pen device really costs in Luanda
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Angola. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested salted in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 8–15 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every salted bottle shipped into Angola.
- Batch code and production date, so a salted bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 16 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where salted goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in Angola stocks.
- Mixing salted with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Angola applies customs scrutiny on vaping imports; budget for delays.
Retail sales in Angola sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

How long does salted in a pen device last?
In Luanda we measured 9 to 16 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.

Yes, tracked to 8–15 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On salted the budget price and the premium price can sit within Kz3.06 per 10 ml once 8–15 business days is counted.
