Salted 60 ml bottle IQOS in Luanda: the review shortlist
Salted in Luanda: 24 units tested over 6 weeks, 60 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
Where buyers go wrong with salted in Angola
Salted prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Luanda that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Kz2.86 per 10 ml.
Salted in a 60 ml bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Luanda the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: salted in Luanda works if the 60 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a salted 60 ml bottle really costs in Luanda
Most people searching IQOS in Angola are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested salted in a 60 ml bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 8–15 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Angola, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for 60 ml bottle in Angola, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the 60 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where salted goes wrong
- Mixing salted with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest 60 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long salted in Luanda survives.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should salted start at?
Start at whatever Angola allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 60 ml bottle.
Why does salted taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 60 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the salted blend itself harsh.
How much does a 60 ml bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Luanda: about Kz2.86 per 10 ml liquid plus Kz57 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
