Plum starter kit IQOS in Luanda: the order shortlist
Plum in Luanda: 8 units tested over 8 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
What the label on Plum is allowed to say
Plum prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Luanda that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Kz3.03 per 10 ml.
We run plum the same way in Luanda: same starter kit, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: plum in Luanda works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plum starter kit really costs in Luanda
Plum starter kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 8 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested plum in a starter kit
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 8–15 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a plum bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plum bottle shipped into Angola.
Where plum goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plum in Luanda survives.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plum tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Angola sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for plum in Angola must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
| What it is | This page | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Flavour | Plum | Decides coil choice more than strength does |
| Format | starter kit | Sets how much liquid you are actually buying |
| Stock checked | 8 lines | Batch-traced, dated production runs only |
| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Angola |
| Coil life | ~4 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Angola | 8–15 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | Kz28 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | Kz3.03 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Angola?
Yes, tracked to 8–15 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
How much does a starter kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Luanda: about Kz3.03 per 10 ml liquid plus Kz28 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
