Plum pen device IQOS in Luanda: the budget shortlist
Plum in Luanda: 6 units tested over 6 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Most people searching IQOS in Angola are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Plum in Luanda reaches the shelf in pen device formats, and the budget ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Below is the run we did for this search: 6 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a plum pen device really costs in Luanda
Plum in Luanda reaches the shelf in pen device formats, and the budget ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested plum in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 6 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Angola, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 8–15 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where plum goes wrong
- Mixing plum with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plum in Luanda survives.
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Angola applies customs scrutiny on vaping imports; budget for delays. Shipping of nicotine to Angola runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to Angola need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On plum the budget price and the premium price can sit within Kz2.45 per 10 ml once 8–15 business days is counted.
How much does a pen device cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Luanda: about Kz2.45 per 10 ml liquid plus Kz53 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
