Plain squonk mod IQOS in Luanda: the online shortlist
Plain in Luanda: 14 units tested over 3 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
How to tell a good squonk mod from a repack
Plain in a squonk mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Luanda the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Plain prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Luanda that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Kz3.22 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 14 units, squonk mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a plain squonk mod really costs in Luanda
We run plain the same way in Luanda: same squonk mod, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested plain in a squonk mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 8–15 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Angola, not a suggestion.
Where plain goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Angola stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plain in Luanda survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Angola need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in Angola sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
