Plain box mod IQOS in Luanda: the deals shortlist
Plain in Luanda: 21 units tested over 3 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
Delivery, returns and what 8–15 business days really means
Ordering into Luanda usually means waiting 8–15 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Plain box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 21 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long plain tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plain box mod really costs in Luanda
A plain box mod from the discounted options in Angola costs about Kz3.08 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested plain in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 8–15 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Stock depth: 21 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a plain bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 8–15 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Angola, since tanks and pods go first.
Where plain goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plain tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing plain with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Angola accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Why does plain taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the plain blend itself harsh.
How long does plain in a box mod last?
In Luanda we measured 3 to 21 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should plain start at?
Start at whatever Angola allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a box mod.
