Pear starter kit IQOS in Luanda: the cheap shortlist
Pear in Luanda: 18 units tested over 3 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
How we tested Pear starter kit here
Pear sounds like one product. It is not: a starter kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Angola. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The short version: pear in Luanda works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear starter kit really costs in Luanda
Pear prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Luanda that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Kz3.6 per 10 ml.
How we tested pear in a starter kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 8–15 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
Where pear goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Angola stocks.
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why pear tastes flat after two days.
