Pear mesh tank IQOS in Luanda: the review shortlist
Pear in Luanda: 13 units tested over 2 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
What the label on Pear is allowed to say
Pear sounds like one product. It is not: a mesh tank running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Pear in a mesh tank is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Luanda the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Below is the run we did for this search: 13 units, mesh tank, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a pear mesh tank really costs in Luanda
Pear in Luanda reaches the shelf in mesh tank formats, and the reviewed ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested pear in a mesh tank
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 8–15 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 8–15 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in Angola, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
Where pear goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long pear in Luanda survives.
- Mixing pear with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in Angola stocks.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Angola need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in Angola sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

| Entry kit | Kz29 | What a first order really pays |

Frequently asked questions
How much does a mesh tank cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Luanda: about Kz3.59 per 10 ml liquid plus Kz29 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
What nicotine strength should pear start at?
Start at whatever Angola allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a mesh tank.
Why does pear taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the pear blend itself harsh.
