Mint cartomizer IQOS in Luanda: the wholesale shortlist
Mint in Luanda: 18 units tested over 9 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
Coil life, liquid cost and the mint habit
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Angola. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
We run mint the same way in Luanda: same cartomizer, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the cartomizer you buy decides how long mint tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a mint cartomizer really costs in Luanda
We run mint the same way in Luanda: same cartomizer, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested mint in a cartomizer
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a mint bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where mint goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Angola accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why mint tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised Kz53 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Kz2.17 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
How long does mint in a cartomizer last?
In Luanda we measured 9 to 18 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.

Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the mint blend itself harsh.
Is mint legal to sell in Angola?
