Melon sub-ohm kit IQOS in Luanda: the review shortlist
Melon in Luanda: 7 units tested over 4 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
Coil life, liquid cost and the melon habit
Most people searching IQOS in Angola are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Melon prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Luanda that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Kz3.5 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the sub-ohm kit you buy decides how long melon tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a melon sub-ohm kit really costs in Luanda
Melon sub-ohm kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 7 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested melon in a sub-ohm kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 8–15 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a melon bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every melon bottle shipped into Angola.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 8–15 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where melon goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a sub-ohm kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest sub-ohm kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Angola applies customs scrutiny on vaping imports; budget for delays.
Wholesale lines to Angola need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does melon taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the melon blend itself harsh.
Can I order IQOS online in Angola?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 8–15 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
What nicotine strength should melon start at?
Start at whatever Angola allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a sub-ohm kit.
