Iced 100 ml bottle IQOS in Luanda: the compare shortlist
Iced in Luanda: 15 units tested over 9 weeks, 100 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
Ordering IQOS to Luanda: the practical version
Iced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Luanda that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Kz3.23 per 10 ml.
We run iced the same way in Luanda: same 100 ml bottle, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the 100 ml bottle you buy decides how long iced tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a iced 100 ml bottle really costs in Luanda
If you are looking at iced in Angola, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 100 ml bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested iced in a 100 ml bottle
- Pick the 100 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the 100 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a iced bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for 100 ml bottle in Angola, since tanks and pods go first.
Where iced goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why iced tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised Kz59 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Kz3.23 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Angola accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for iced in Angola must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in Angola sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
