Herbal RDA IQOS in Luanda: the price shortlist
Herbal in Luanda: 18 units tested over 9 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
Where buyers go wrong with herbal in Angola
A herbal RDA from the value options in Angola costs about Kz2.95 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Herbal prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Luanda that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Kz2.95 per 10 ml.
The short version: herbal in Luanda works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a herbal RDA really costs in Luanda
Herbal sounds like one product. It is not: a RDA running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested herbal in a RDA
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a herbal bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in Angola, since tanks and pods go first.
Where herbal goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised Kz32 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Kz2.95 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Angola sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How long does herbal in a RDA last?
In Luanda we measured 9 to 18 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does herbal taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the herbal blend itself harsh.
