Guava cartomizer IQOS in Luanda: the deals shortlist
Guava in Luanda: 9 units tested over 9 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
How we tested Guava cartomizer here
Guava cartomizer reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 9 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
A guava cartomizer from the discounted options in Angola costs about Kz2.33 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the cartomizer you buy decides how long guava tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a guava cartomizer really costs in Luanda
Guava prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Luanda that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Kz2.33 per 10 ml.
How we tested guava in a cartomizer
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 8–15 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 8–15 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where guava goes wrong
- Mixing guava with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why guava tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest cartomizer available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Angola applies customs scrutiny on vaping imports; budget for delays.
Retail sales in Angola sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does guava taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the guava blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should guava start at?
Start at whatever Angola allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a cartomizer.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On guava the budget price and the premium price can sit within Kz2.33 per 10 ml once 8–15 business days is counted.
