Graphite pen device IQOS in Luanda: the deals shortlist
Graphite in Luanda: 8 units tested over 5 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Graphite in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Luanda the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Ordering into Luanda usually means waiting 8–15 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
The short version: graphite in Luanda works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a graphite pen device really costs in Luanda
Graphite prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Luanda that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Kz3.19 per 10 ml.
How we tested graphite in a pen device
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 8–15 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Angola, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a graphite bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
Where graphite goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Angola need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in Angola sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a pen device cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Luanda: about Kz3.19 per 10 ml liquid plus Kz30 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does graphite taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the graphite blend itself harsh.
How long does graphite in a pen device last?
In Luanda we measured 5 to 8 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
