Grapey 30 ml shortfill IQOS in Luanda: the price shortlist
Grapey in Luanda: 18 units tested over 9 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
Ordering IQOS to Luanda: the practical version
Grapey prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Luanda that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Kz2.23 per 10 ml.
We run grapey the same way in Luanda: same 30 ml shortfill, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: grapey in Luanda works if the 30 ml shortfill, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a grapey 30 ml shortfill really costs in Luanda
A grapey 30 ml shortfill from the value options in Angola costs about Kz2.23 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested grapey in a 30 ml shortfill
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 8–15 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the 30 ml shortfill, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 8–15 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Mixing grapey with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised Kz40 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Kz2.23 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why grapey tastes flat after two days.
