Fig pen device IQOS in Luanda: the budget shortlist
Fig in Luanda: 6 units tested over 4 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
How to tell a good pen device from a repack
We run fig the same way in Luanda: same pen device, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The honest read on fig: 6 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: fig in Luanda works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a fig pen device really costs in Luanda
We run fig the same way in Luanda: same pen device, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested fig in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every fig bottle shipped into Angola.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Angola, not a suggestion.
Where fig goes wrong
- Treating the advertised Kz62 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Kz2.32 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in Angola stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Angola sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a pen device cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Luanda: about Kz2.32 per 10 ml liquid plus Kz62 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does fig taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the fig blend itself harsh.
