Fig cartomizer IQOS in Luanda: the deals shortlist
Fig in Luanda: 15 units tested over 2 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
Where buyers go wrong with fig in Angola
A fig cartomizer from the discounted options in Angola costs about Kz2.55 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Fig sounds like one product. It is not: a cartomizer running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you only read one line: the cartomizer you buy decides how long fig tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a fig cartomizer really costs in Luanda
Fig sounds like one product. It is not: a cartomizer running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested fig in a cartomizer
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for cartomizer in Angola, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a fig bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
Where fig goes wrong
- Treating the advertised Kz56 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Kz2.55 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest cartomizer available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing fig with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a cartomizer cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Luanda: about Kz2.55 per 10 ml liquid plus Kz56 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On fig the budget price and the premium price can sit within Kz2.55 per 10 ml once 8–15 business days is counted.
Why does fig taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the fig blend itself harsh.
