Citrus pod kit IQOS in Luanda: the review shortlist
Citrus in Luanda: 24 units tested over 6 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
How we tested Citrus pod kit here
If you are looking at citrus in Angola, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pod kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Citrus prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Luanda that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Kz2.08 per 10 ml.
The short version: citrus in Luanda works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a citrus pod kit really costs in Luanda
Citrus in Luanda reaches the shelf in pod kit formats, and the reviewed ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested citrus in a pod kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 8–15 business days.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Angola, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in Angola, since tanks and pods go first.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Treating the advertised Kz62 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Kz2.08 per 10 ml.
- Mixing citrus with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Angola sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Angola applies customs scrutiny on vaping imports; budget for delays.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a pod kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Luanda: about Kz2.08 per 10 ml liquid plus Kz62 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On citrus the budget price and the premium price can sit within Kz2.08 per 10 ml once 8–15 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should citrus start at?
Start at whatever Angola allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pod kit.
