Cherry cartomizer IQOS in Luanda: the budget shortlist
Cherry in Luanda: 12 units tested over 3 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
How to tell a good cartomizer from a repack
We run cherry the same way in Luanda: same cartomizer, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Cherry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Luanda that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Kz3.53 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the cartomizer you buy decides how long cherry tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a cherry cartomizer really costs in Luanda
Cherry in a cartomizer is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Luanda the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested cherry in a cartomizer
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 8–15 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 8–15 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Angola, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
Where cherry goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why cherry tastes flat after two days.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Angola accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised Kz48 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Kz3.53 per 10 ml.
