Caramel RDA IQOS in Luanda: the budget shortlist
Caramel in Luanda: 21 units tested over 7 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
Coil life, liquid cost and the caramel habit
Caramel prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Luanda that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Kz2.96 per 10 ml.
We run caramel the same way in Luanda: same RDA, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long caramel tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

How we tested caramel in a RDA
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 8–15 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Angola, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in Angola, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Treating the advertised Kz29 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Kz2.96 per 10 ml.
- Mixing caramel with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.

Frequently asked questions
How long does caramel in a RDA last?
In Luanda we measured 7 to 21 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should caramel start at?
Start at whatever Angola allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a RDA.
Can I order IQOS online in Angola?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 8–15 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
