Caramel pen device IQOS in Luanda: the review shortlist
Caramel in Luanda: 22 units tested over 6 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
How we tested Caramel pen device here
Caramel in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Luanda the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Caramel prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Luanda that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Kz1.88 per 10 ml.
The short version: caramel in Luanda works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a caramel pen device really costs in Luanda
Caramel pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 22 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested caramel in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 8–15 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Stock depth: 22 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a caramel bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Angola, since tanks and pods go first.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Angola accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised Kz41 entry kit as the real cost when refills run Kz1.88 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for caramel in Angola must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Angola applies customs scrutiny on vaping imports; budget for delays.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should caramel start at?
Start at whatever Angola allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
Why does caramel taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the caramel blend itself harsh.
Do you ship tracked orders to Angola?
Yes, tracked to 8–15 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
