Caramel pen device IQOS in Luanda: the flat shortlist
Caramel in Luanda: 8 units tested over 5 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
How to tell a good pen device from a repack
Most people searching IQOS in Angola are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
We run caramel the same way in Luanda: same pen device, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long caramel tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a caramel pen device really costs in Luanda
Caramel prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Luanda that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Kz2.22 per 10 ml.
How we tested caramel in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 8–15 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a caramel bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Angola, since tanks and pods go first.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Mixing caramel with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Angola accept nicotine freight.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Angola?
Yes, tracked to 8–15 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does caramel taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the caramel blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should caramel start at?
Start at whatever Angola allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
