Candy squonk mod IQOS in Luanda: the price shortlist
Candy in Luanda: 6 units tested over 2 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
What the label on Candy is allowed to say
We run candy the same way in Luanda: same squonk mod, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The honest read on candy: 6 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: candy in Luanda works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a candy squonk mod really costs in Luanda
Candy prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Luanda that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Kz2.84 per 10 ml.
How we tested candy in a squonk mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a candy bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every candy bottle shipped into Angola.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where candy goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long candy in Luanda survives.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why candy tastes flat after two days.
