Apple starter kit IQOS in Luanda: the review shortlist
Apple in Luanda: 19 units tested over 8 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Angola.
What the label on Apple is allowed to say
Apple sounds like one product. It is not: a starter kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Apple sounds like one product. It is not: a starter kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long apple tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a apple starter kit really costs in Luanda
Apple prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Luanda that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within Kz2.25 per 10 ml.
How we tested apple in a starter kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Angola, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in Angola, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where apple goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Angola stocks.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why apple tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Angola applies customs scrutiny on vaping imports; budget for delays.
Retail sales in Angola sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Angola?
Yes, tracked to 8–15 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does apple taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the apple blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On apple the budget price and the premium price can sit within Kz2.25 per 10 ml once 8–15 business days is counted.
